Thanks to Dick Brown, owner of Glory Days in Lakewood, we have a place to meet and remiinisce about our glory days at LHHS. He's got the walls covered with pictures and memorabilia dating back to the original class of 58?

Bob Bumcrot and Tony Muser have arranged for Coach Artie Boyd to attend a couple of our baseball alumni lunches and we had a huge turnout on Burger Bash Thursday. . .every Thursday at Glory Days.

Lately Tim Lane and Bruce Elligsen have joined us and the group is growing rapidly. All Lakewood alumni are welcome and we hope to see you at Glory Days.

Hi everyone! After 50 years, I just logged onto the site. Unfortunately, I won't be able to be at the 50th reunion this year but would love to hear from anyone from the class of 64. After graduating from Cal State Fullerton with an English and Elementary Education degree, I spent a year working and traveling around the world, then applied for (and was accepted) to teach in Sydney, Australia on a 1-year contract. Just thought it would be fun.

Over 43 years later, I am still here. After I had taught for 4 years, I married an Australia, Chris Northey. We have almost been married for 40 years. We have 2 boys and a girl, aged 35, 36 and 37 and 3 grandchildren.

I stopped teaching after our daughter was born and did not work for 8 years while our children were at home. Since then, I have done some amazing things. My jobs were very diverse since we moved so often due to my husband's job as a church minister. He is also a trained high school maths and science teacher and is still teaching at the moment.

i have worked as a business analyst, a computer programmer (developing programs for children with learning difficulties and programs for children with brain injuries) and an instructional designer. My last job before retiring 6 years ago was as a senior manager for Airservices Australia. I managed all regulatory documentation for all the air traffic control towers and aviation and fire fighting stations in Australia.

We live in Canberra, Australia Capital Territory, the federal capital of Australia (like Washington D.C.). Anyone coming to Australia? Please feel free to email me if you remember me! My email address is ck.northey@bigpond.com.
